Thread: Pregancy

    Exercise will for sure help with pregnancy and recovery. I'm at 26 weeks right now with my second. I was told by the Dr. to just keep doing what I have been doing and staying aware of how I'm feeling, body temp, HR, etc. I teach once a week and my class seems very interested in my pregnancy's progression. I told them I might have to teach off the bike and I may have modify or take it down a notch when the intensity increases. I have to agree with another poster that I there should be more prenatal classes other than yoga. I think a lot of women might just be afraid to work out and unsure of what they can or can't do. I think keeping up your strength and muscle tone during the 9 months is so important - physically and mentally.

    simple walking can help keep your body in balance as you approach your big day. Aim for at least 30 minutes a day, preferably outdoors for the fresh air, sunlight and natural surroundings.
