My gym has 8 Keiser M3 bikes, purchased in 2008-2010. I have been having issues with the recalibration step. After I recalibrate it seems as if the first inch of travel on the shifter produces no resistance charge or indicated gear change. When I finally get to gear 2, it feels like a typical gear 8-10, when I bump it up to gear 4 , I'm standing.

i recalibrated all the bikes and tested them multiple times, after 3-4 attempts the bikes seem to be back to a normal state. I know some of the power meters have been changed out over the years, a couple of the bikes have a different software that requires a different calibration process than the others.

anybody else ran into to a similar issue?
