  1. Default Kaiser 5421 old spinning bike, recommendations for monitor please?

Hi, I've an old Kaiser 5421 bike, the orange type. Love it, although squeaky.
Just getting back into spinning after breaking my ankle last year.
Are there any heartrate / cadence / rpm monitors you'd recommend that are easy to fit?
The bike only has a shimano resistance lever.
    Many thanks!

As far as I know (and I'm happy to be corrected) there are none.

The technology surrounding the IDC bike computers are very specific to the company and the bike design itself.

FWIW, looking at what you're working with (your body/past injuries/fitness level etc. etc.) as the limiting factor you don't really need to look at these parameters right now..

JUST RIDE........consistently......and then RIDE SOME MORE. You'd be amazed at how effective this strategy can can be.

Thanks Vivienne, I'll just see if I can adapt something.
