    Default Shorts

My local gym has request nobody to wear cycling shorts while spinning unless you wear shorts over the top.

Can you get light weight MTB baggy style shorts

I teach at one place that has a somewhat conservative dress code - no sport bras without another garment over them - but even there cycling shorts by themselves are allowed. It seems to me that in general not as many people wear cycling shorts for class as they did a few years ago, mostly just those who are serious outdoor cyclists.

i find just either lined swimming shorts or thin cotton shorts like football (soccer) shorts are fine. as classes are no longer than an hour usually unless doing double then specialist or padded shorts aren't overly necessary, for me anyway.

I use cycling bibs and running tights as well. Do not feel big difference.
