Default Back Wheel On A Red Bike

Regarding the historical Johnny G Schwinn Spinner(s). Will the black Pro flywheel assembly fit on the Elite model bike?

I want to say yes, I have an Elite and my first club had Pros, however I would suggest asking Billy Garcia at innercycling.com to be sure.

its been a long time since I worked on any of these first issue bikes I remember The Elite had that dang smart (?) release the pro's did not, there may be a space issue. I seem to remember someone having issues with the smart release and retrofitted with the black wheel just cant remember who or how it worked out, this is one of the issues of being getting old

yes the frames of the black Johnny g's where all the same you can fit a JG pro flywheel on an elite and vice versa. but if you try and fit a elite flywheel on a pro you would need a elite chain guard. thats because an elite chain guard has a bigger space cut out for smart release.
