Default a needle/haystack search for something I saw somewhere...

Okay forum, I am coming to you with a crazy quest. I'm trying to track down something that I read in the last month or so on the Interwebs that had to do with using Facebook (primarily, I think) to promote cycle/group exercise classes. What I recall of it was sort of a 'Here's how to do it wrong' -- with various self-congratulatory "Taught a killer class tonight - my ladies worked their butts off" examples -- and then some suggestions for doing it better that included not just self-tooting but promoting other instructors' classes as well, also with examples.

I'm not looking for advice about promoting - I'm just looking for *that specific article.* And I haven't a clue where I read it, though I don't spend a lot of time at general group-exercise sites. (I've visited my usual haunts and even tried searching my History, all with no luck... )

So here's throwing out a wing/prayer that perhaps someone else saw the same piece and can help me out. If I should post this crazy quest somewhere other than this forum, please feel free to educate me... I'm a newbie newbie!! Cheers -

Was it an article on a site specific to Group fitness or IDC? Sounds like something that might appear on Rate Your Burn, but I haven't found it there (yet - I am a determined searcher!)

I did, however, find this: http://www.waitbutwhy.com/2013/07/7-...-facebook.html
    and this: http://blogs.constantcontact.com/pro...b-on-facebook/

So, to find your post, I recommend typing into Google any phrase that you can remember was used. But it's gotta be word-for-word something you are sure you read in the article. Unfortunately "killer class" brought a butt load of inane tweets. Wow, guess that is good advice!

I think I know the post you're talking about... I saw it on Facebook a while back -- I can't find it either

Thank you, determined searcher! I know, I tried the "killer class" quote too... unfortunately I can't dredge anything quite specific enough out of my brain. I don't know that it specifically even mentioned FB, as I think on it. Argh. I'm grateful for your time in trying to locate my needle
