I agree! Newbies at my facility thinks Cycle Class is for athletes/more “in shape” individuals. I encourage everyone to challenge themselves and treat their bike as they would a treadmill. I always say “this is YOUR workout. If you need to rest a minute, by all means rest a minute! If you add too much tension, take some tension off...I’m not controlling your bike for you, I’m merely making suggestions.” 😋 Within a few classes (once they get beyond the butt pain lol) you can see their confidence rise & they start challenging themselves more. I love that it’s a workout anyone can do! Happy pedaling!

Agreed! The spin class is an environment that can accommodate all levels within the same workout!!
