Hi to all and thanks for taking the time to read through my post, I appreciate it as I seem to be stuck..

It has come time for me to make a decision regarding my decision to have a three disk Lumbar fusion. I have exhausted and I mean exhausted all my alternative and non-invasive techniques. The pain is bad and I don't want to be on narcotics as the quality of my life on these things is not the best.

I pose this question, I am currently teaching 5 cycle classes per week. Has anybody had a three disk fusion and if so I realize I probably won't be teaching five classes but I must know there is still hope for me after fusion.

This is so not a fun thing.

Thanks for all your help and comments.

I don't have the answer to your question - but from someone who has lumbar back disc problems (but has had a more favorable outcome) I wish you all the very best with your surgery; rehab and quality of life after surgery. It sucks to have back problems.

Thanks Cheeze, this is no fun at all. Oh to be pain free.
