I've attached the shortcuts to the main instant message programs on the web. They are a terrific device for sending mp3 or any files between each of us,instantly. For security reasons, you are able to control who knows your 'name' and before sending a file, the program asks the receiver if they want the file in the first place. So you won't be sent rubbish by someone you don't know. The setup of each program is very easy and incredibly quick.

I didn't realize that you could send files through yahoo messenger. That's really cool!

Rick, I would love to BUT my very security wise and the smarter computer person in our household (my DH) will not allow IM. I know that sounds awful to say he won't allow it, but hey I must defer all technical issues to him. Sorry I can't share in sending bigger song files, however I was able to send and receive some recent songs, so I don't know what my email size limit is  .

Kelly the one you sent me was almost 7MB... which my email was able to handle no problem...

However, bigger files will not go, hence the IM post :) Thanks Rick!

I have aol IM, do I need to download another verison as well as the most updated one? I had yahoo IM but we got a virus and my husband put a firewall on and I can't load it anymore. Same with Incredimail. Darn it! Now he has blocked me from putting any thing on my 'puter. He just doesn't understand I need my Instant messenger's. I sent a photo file the other day through aol IM, does this mean I can send an MP3 file?
