Exercise Physiology: Theory and Application to Fitness and Performance by Powers and Howley
OR
Exercise Physiology: Energy, Nutrition and Human Performance by McArdle?
Or should I just splurge and get both? :)
TIA,

My personal favorite:
http://www.amazon.com/Exercise-Physiology-Human-Bioenergetics-Applications/dp/0072556420/sr=8-1/qid=1168634839/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1/102-0605421-1090520?ie=UTF8&s=books
Check out the reviews at the bottom of the web page. Better than McArdle's book IMHO.

If you don't mind used, check out amazon and ebay. I've gotten several used books that were in perfect condition!
Then you don't feel guilty about getting both:D

Todd, is there a mistake? This book must have more than 22 pages, no?

Yeah. The '22' is a misprint. I don't have my copy handy but it's a pretty thick text book.

Mine is the second edition printed in 1996. 750 pages.
