This is where we can post photos of our daily routines that seem boring or dull to us but will give everyone else an insight into who we are,who we work with and where and what we do.

I know Vivienne is a dentist... I'd prefer if I don't see shots of the cavity fillings, root canals or anything like that ;)

If I ever get a job, I'll be sure to post a pic  LOL!

It's not painful to look at a root canal. It's not even that bad to get one. What stinks is the pain that brings you in to get the root canal in the first place....

Sounds like the voice of experience, Jenn.

Rick, this is a good idea. Give me one more reason to take pictures (it's my job).

You mean I have to get my office nice & tidy? :p It'll take me a little bit before it's presentable enough to take a pic...

Ughh... moving. What a PAIN!! I hate packing/unpacking from a vacation, let alone my entire house.

Hang in there!

The neat, orderly labeling is impressive! As many might guess, I'd scribble across the boxes with a big ol' Sharpie.

Well as we were downsizing we had to sell off a lot of the big furniture (those two ugly armchairs only followed so we had some place to sit until the new stuff shows up) ... so we had a pretty easy boxed move ... the pups didn't care as soon as their beds were out they were in them and fast asleep ... and yes anal on the labels I know ... you should see my class plans ... umm they're packed somewhere

Course biggest pain is putting up with this everynight from the balcony

totally cool!!!! I didn't even know J-Lo had a sister. She kinda looks like a cross between J-Lo and Daisy Fuentes......

Ooh, your room has a TV(s). But can your instructors hook their own video to them? I'd be all over that. I still have to drag my laptop and 19" monitor to the gym to do a video ride. They are mounted too high though. To be most effective and safe, you'll want to move them to eye level.

Yeah,it's in the cardio room.Yes I can hook a dvd up to it,we've done that a couple of times and it's worked well.I've recently bought some training dvds and play them on a loop and people are starting to ride the bikes outside of class times too, which makes the boss happy.

Rick, now I know what you meant by "no walls" and "mixed with the general population of the gym"... kudos to you my friend, for making it work!

Cool, but you really want to think about moving them to eye level. It's one thing to be standing erect on an orbital machine and looking up, but unless you put the handlebars WAY up, a bike rider has to hyper-extend their neck to watch.

I agree 100% but the thing you must understand is this. The original design/layout of the gym was the no1 thing on the managemants minds and they didn't have a clue about spinning back then (and still don't now). The TV was put there quite simply because "there was a void of anything happening" in that area. There was no consideration for it to be used in a class concept at all.

There are many things in the gym that I look at every day and I think "why?" and then I just give up because it falls on deaf ears.Sad,but true.:(

No pics of me yet, but the studio owner was snapping during my session and promised she'd send them to me to post ... we raised just over $6,000 in 8 hours ... last year they did $3,000 ... lots of bananas, muffins, cookies, water, sweat, and :D
